PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

This programme aims to provide a thorough knowledge of the bigger issues related to marketing to help participants to prepare to face the challenges of increased competition within a changing global economic environment.

CONTENTS

Module 1 – Effective Management for Marketing

  • Sound management skills  which can be practiced in a marketing context.
  • Personal strengths and weaknesses and the ability to undertake improvements.
  • Sensitivity to others and the ability to work in groups and manage people.
  • Managing marketing operations, marketing information and promotional practices.


Module 2 – Marketing Fundamentals.

  • The development of marketing and its changing role of this  within a variety of organization.
  • The various tools of the marketer, an appreciation of their strength and weaknesses and the skills necessary to use them creatively and effectively.
  • The synergy achievable through modifying the marketing mix and positioning produce and service offerings to meet the clearly identified market.


Module 3 – Understanding customers

  • Understanding customer needs and complexity of the Decision Making Unit and Process  in both consumer and industrial markets.
  • Effective market research investigations and identifying customer needs through the use of research data.
  • Collecting, analyzing and presenting qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Social, cultural and economic factors that influence consumer behavior in personal and business buying both locally and abroad.
  • Role of segmentation in marketing and the competence to segment markets effectively in a variety of market situations.


Module 4 – Marketing Operations

  • Marketing fundamentals
  • Understanding the process of marketing operations (analysis, planning, implementation and control) and the process of marketing decisions.
  • Adopting and applying details of marketing operations in a variety of situations.


LEARNING OUTCOME

Participants will have a thorough knowledge and skills in marketing , necessary to face the challenges in an increasing challenging faced by business around the globe.



CERTIFICATION

Participants who have successfully completed the course will be awarded the Executive Certificate in Marketing by Binary University College.

8 days  x  6 hours   =  48 hours
