Located in the heart of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) at IOI Business Park, Puchong, Binary is surrounded by cultural and commercial centres. It is easily accessible by public transport. Our curriculum emphasizes on 3 elements – a Solid Academic Foundation, Extensive Practical Experience and Industry Relevant Skills. On the academic side, we require students to know what is happening around the world through our current issue module. Students study about globalization by exploring development of business and IT in America, Europe and Asia. The University puts great emphasis on students acquiring an in-depth knowledge about the various industries. Binary offers industry exposure throughout the degree or masters, which brings industry experts to share their experiences with students. Students will have a firm grasp of the various business sectors such as banking, manufacturing, tourism, logistics, telecommunication etc, as student need to do industry projects and assignments every year. This gives our graduates a solid understanding how things work in the real business or IT world. To ensure that every Binary graduate who goes into the job market has relevant and marketable skills, each one of them is required to complete a set of Industry Relevant Skills. IT graduates are also encouraged to be certified by IBM, Oracle, Sun, Microsoft or SAP. ISP CERTIFIED GRADUATES
All students (degree or master) graduate from Binary with two certificates. One is the degree parchment and the other being the ISP Certified Professional Certificate. Every graduate is ISP Certified by industry practitioners. INDUSTRY LINKS
We have strong links with the industry. We are the only University that has forged strategic partnerships with all five of the world’s TOP computer giants – IBM, Oracle, Sun Microsystems,SAP and Microsoft. The University is equipped with state-of-the-art computing facilities, which include a Sun Ultra and an IBM RISC laboratories. There is also a dedicated Apple iMac multimedia studio and 9 other Pentium labs. Java and .Net is widely used in the University. International firms such as Siemens Nixdorf, Arthur Anderson, IBM, Philip, HSBC, Ericsson, Citi Bank, Sony (to name a few) provide you excellent opportunities to do your industry projects.
